50th Birthday, Cebu The Philippines; Day #3
The troops start arriving now for 50th Birthday, Cebu The Philippines; Day #3. Still awaiting Mr Edmonds and gang who seem to be on a tour of every Asian airport to get here, Mr and Mrs Lempriere on their way tomorrow from Hong Kong and then family Mary from Bohol, a mere ferry ride away.
I am not sure if I have mentioned this but not only is it 50th Birthday, Cebu The Philippines; Day #3. BUT I also share the same birthday with our Jhea, it was Mary and I wedding anniversary on 26th, and whilst we are all here it is also Sophia and Stacy’s birthday – how nuts is that. Quadruple whammy!!! Let’s have a look at how today went.
Breakfast and pretty much straight to the beach to await the troops arrival…
Amazing snorkelling here at Movenpick @ Mactan. Literally 15-20 yards out they have created a rocky outcrop – hey presto it is now a reef. It’s insanely good. I popped out with Amy – black and blue sea snake, sea horses, star fish, sea slugs and an abundance of beautiful tropical fish – just amazing!

50th Birthday, Cebu The Philippines; Day #3 – what an incredible day! This is one VERY lucky 50-ish boy!!!
So there we have 50th Birthday, Cebu The Philippines; Day #3. What a cracker it was. So absolutely amazing to have so many family and friends in one place, and that place is quite literally paradise. An absolute quality day. Could not think of a better bunch to be with. Spare a thought for Eddo, 30 hour trip and a cock up on his room on arrival – sorted that today though. And to top off such a fantastic day, South Korea kick Germany out of the World Cup – insane!!! Worth staying up for, that’s for certain. So must dash now as back to my foot massage, beer, then beach. More to come re the actual day, but for now – ENJOY!!!
