50th Birthday, Cebu The Philippines; Day #6

What an absolute belter of a day today was. Such a shame my wifey and Baby Jude missed this, as it truly was such a giggle. But this bloody cough he has is relentless. I think we all felt like Pirates of the Caribbean, Duran Duran and/or Dicaprio – just hoping the boat didn’t go down like the latter though. This is 50th Birthday, Cebu The Philippines; Day #6.

Luckily the GM of Movenpick passed me the details of a great guy, in fact that great guy was sent to Ibiza to chat to me to arrange it the night before – WOW again amazing service from Movenpick. The trip was trusted now, and everyone seemed to be getting rather excited for the day ahead and a new adventure.

A few words of advice though before you depart. Try and sneak some towels on. Take heaps and heaps of sun-cream. Take a fair bit of cash, as the fee for the boat does not include food, beverage or even access to each island that you snorkel at. That can soon add up, so we were all scrambling round trying to get enough cash together. Not many ATM’s at sea folks.

We even got to see Bohol today. Yes Mary’s home island, and island of our new home – more of that in a latter blog.

Here come our gorgeous looking boat, all adorned with glitter strips and flowers. Now why is that? Because our boat was the lead on a procession for a certain saint on a certain persons birthday – see more of that in Amy’s photo selection. How cool is that

Now that is a big crew is it not – and that is just one side if the boat, let’s go say hi to everyone else. Amy making that famous Globally well known Pirate sign, that no-one else in the world has ever heard of…

And side B, or starboard. Rest of the crew including J&J. Can’t wait, let’s get this puppy sailing!

Amy takes her life in her hands and sits on the furthest most point – I said if she falls in the next thing she’ll meet is the propeller. But that would be fine as we could stop the boat and snorkel as the fish would love the chum in the water…

It’s lemmings time. We’ll have so so many fish round us soon, thanks girls for your sacrifice…

Well hello ladies – looking gorgeous, and very relaxed. I call them my Vape Crusaders

Seriously everyone just really got in to – watching the waves crashing past, islands coming and going in the beautiful topaz seas.

Nothing really more to say. Happy families and mates, chatting, and laughing. Job done!

This was a classic. These two lads get this huge bamboo pole, and one goes top and one goes bottom. Hey presto you have a human handrail, to deal with the steep climb up at low tide. GENIUS – well done Macgyver.

And we get back all a little toasted and hot, so first thing my gang do is get straight in the pool. Me missing one, and the kids missing one too – very sad. Jhea seems to be thirsty and is lapping up the pool…

See what I mean re the Saint Celebration – well amazingly Sr San Pedro was the founder of Youth Day and here’s is his fiesta time – yep 28th June on my birthday. Quite amazing. And as I said our boat led this huge procession. I asked Mary if it was sea related – no, it’s easier to do a procession on the sea than on the busy roads of Cebu.

A very happy Daddy is all boarded and ready to sail!!!

Tomorrow we’ll be here at JPark for the kids – hotel with water park attached. She really is taking some great photos!!!

And the same with #3 daughter too. We some amazing stuff together when we meandered away from the boat. HUGE Angel Fish and a rather long Pipe Fish to boot. Wow!!!
