Wow the 8th blog of the holiday. Fingers now have callouses. But here is 50th Birthday, Cebu The Philippines; Day #8, AKA let’s have a trip to Bohol to see the new house. Massive adventure to unfold.
Traffic like I have not seen since London did the congestion charge.
New regulation at customs with need for ID – we had none – thank you Mary for ‘coercing’ the port staff.
Early lunch, plus Philippines ‘water’ at 1030am.
Acting like guests at Hennan Resort on Alona Beach.
Heathrow experience at BQ Shopping Mall to book the return tickets on the ferry… OMG!!!
Coleman demands he is not getting in a tricycle and wants to walk to ferry and causes us to walk 30 minutes – he’s a bugger!
Etc…
But all in all 50th Birthday, Cebu The Philippines; Day #8, was a bloody brilliant day. Loved to see the house with my two building mates PC and Painey – apparently house is so good, and loads of ideas were flooding from the boys. Some of which absolutely were already in the grey matter – decking and pool for example! Love it when a plan comes together. So here we go – not too many snaps today as full on day, but yes yet another absolute beauty with BFF’s.

Business class on the fast ferry baby – yep away from the chickens and ‘normal’ people. The ONLY way to travel!!!
Baby Jude and I did about an hour of “Street Fighter” with Godzilla and Dave the Parrot!!! Dave lost a lot!!!
Back to one of my favourite restaurants in the world – Payag on Bohol, Tagbilaran City. We have arrived. 1030am and it’s time for a Pilsen – come on that is 1230 in Oz and I work for Telstra – works for me!

The best ever chicken BBQ – if you ever come to AirBnB my new gaff – make sure you come to Tagbilaran and try this – it’s bonkers good and SO cheap. Just amazing!
My little monkey eating deep fried pig intestines – yep he is an food adventurer. Woo Hoo!!! Even Amy and Taylah had a crack at this, but I missed the shot.
Well hello there Mary and my new land and house – lick of paint and few ‘snags’ to sort and hey presto we are rocking. See you again in August. Furniture will be coming soon!

And my friends that is that. I finished taking snaps due to tiredness. Despite popping down to watch the football at 2200. What a day. It was super duper with mates and my amazing family having a look round Mary’s home and my new home. Can it get any better – to be honest I don’t think so. 50th Birthday, Cebu The Philippines; Day #8 was such a different day for all concerned – loved it – and you must come here too to – ENJOY!!!
