50th Birthday, Cebu The Philippines; Day #9
Tis the 4th July today and our Stacy’s birthday – Happy Happy Birthday gorgeous. Amazing we had three birthdays and a wedding anniversary this trip. Sadly we also had sick kids, so today was a quiet one for us with them, but a biggie for foot ball as England take on Colombia tomorrow at 2am. So 50th Birthday, Cebu The Philippines; Day #9, is an extended blog including up to 0600am for the football. And yes WE WON – weeeeeeeeeeeee!!!

Here go – the end is nearing of such a fantastic vacation and birthday! First off is a little pool for the kids – pool of a different nature to usual though!

Next up is to watch a little TV in bed, as both have this nasty cough now – dear me poor little things! SO next up is off to get medicine.

So as an added treat we take them to see their best mate Jollibee…

Amy had an interview for Grab Philippines.

Jude wanted a try out too, but Daddy had to help.

Nice shirt Jollibee, I have one very similar to that! Amazing!

No more photos today, until dinner time. It took Mary and I ages to try to book where to eat. We were originally thinking to go to Lantaw, but the GM of Movenpick advised against it during the night. So off we go again to one of our favourites Maribago Grill. Brilliant fun as always in the jeepney on the way. Guess what happened though…?

Yep ours rang out of gas, so we had to wait at the road-side for the other one to catch up and it was then squeezy time! One big happy family – WOW!!! So funny!

Happy families again, about to get stuck n to some amazing grub – happy birthday again to Stacy xxx

Oh no, man down!!!

Amazing BBQ prawns at the restaurant. Wow!

Check out this lechon kawali too – yummo!

A seriously delicious cucumber salad – some pepper, vinegar, onion and pineapple. A little salt and Boom!!

A cracker of a photo of the beautiful girls.

And here they are a few years back – wow how much have they grown up – crazy!

Eddo and I decide against power naps for the 2am start for England v Colombia – it’s midnight and we are gonna push on through!!!

Here is our Red Bull, ha ha!!!

I think we may have over-booked the seats…

The rest of the gang arrive – front row seats – nice!!
We were looked after like Kings but the, as always, AMAZING Movenpick staff. So good – thank you guys!!! So very much appreciated, it was such a fun morning with you until 6am – jeeze!!!

And we are on!!!

Oh yes!!!

Not looking too bad for 0330am

We couldn’t watch at certain times, n fact Eddo even hd behind the pillar for the penalties. Well played England!!!
And there you have it a day of Bees, Birthdays, Buddies, Beating Colombia and Beers. What a truly amazing day, yet again. Who knows what’s in store for tomorrow? We shall see. Day #10 on it’s way to a blog near you soon. Thanks to family and friends again for such an incredible day. 50th Birthday, Cebu The Philippines; Day #9.
