24km of what was a rail link Singapore to Malaya Peninsula for commuters and goods. Now redeveloped for our walking, and cycling pleasure and it is a beauty.
The Singapore National Parks state;
“Rail Corridor (Central) – Is where the journey begins at Upper Bukit Timah, down to the old Bukit Timah Station and ending up on the Coast near Pasir Pajang. Rail Corridor takes visitors on a journey through a variety of landscapes, communities and unique experiences. Enhancements will begin with Rail Corridor (Central), which is known for its lush natural landscapes and elements of rich heritage.”
It really is a beautiful walk away from the busy city despite the fact that you actually walk right through the middle of it – nearly top to bottom. It’s stunning. A die die must try for the family. Throw the iPads out and getting walking through our nature. You will LOVE it.
BUT!
Sun-Tan lotion
Mosquito spray
Comfy walking shoes
Lots of water
A brollie or a hat…
ENJOY!!!
