Sadly no trip to the Philippines, so we tried to bring it here…
We had Morocco & Bohol today for Wifey’s 44th birthday 2021. Sadly a short day or early finish however you look at it as she had to go to bloody work at 1800, grrrr. But still she had a wonderful Wifey birthday, of that I am certain.
Anyways my love. Happy Happy Birthday. We hope you had a lovely day with us and enjoyed the pressies and lunch.

Tomorrow is her day off and tomorrow is ‘ANOTHER DAY’ – haha – watch this space!!!

Lunchtime @ Le Fez
Off across the road to Le Fez next for Wifey’s chosen lunch venue and Moroccan fare…
This 5 only ruling despite the same household still does my absolute nut in. Anyways the very helpful staff were able to ‘sort of’ get us close to each other. Close enough for a family photo anyways…
Wifey doing some modelling shoots for the fresh beetroot & juice mocktail, whilst sporting her new Swarovski ring & necklace (great choices from Jude Jude and me)
Talking of Jude Jude who seems to have just stopped out of the swimming pool. But he said this is his new favourite mocktail because it has peach syrup in it. Lucky little thing!!!
Mine was incredible too with coconut, mint and other amazing things… Yummo!!!
A couple of glorious food shots. One of the very best chicken dishes I have ever eaten in my rather extended life. This is simply called Rotisserie Chicken (Moroccan style). It is OFF-THE-CHARTS good.
The other dish of stand-out note today was Wifey’s choice of the mussels. Incredible. You know I hate seafood, but I tried a little of the cream sauce and it was just incredible… yeah, I can’t believe I am saying that. But it was. Incredible. And how pretty is that plated…
Film & Cake Time…
Then it is home for lazy afternoon time and a quick film watch. Then just before Wifey dinner before work, it is CAKE TIME. I worked with Sooperlicious Halal Cakes again on the cake and man did she knock it out of the park. The brief was that Wifey was missing Bohol and the Philippines. I want Chocolate Hills from Bohol, Jeepneys, Straw Houses and Flags and the like. Did she get the brief right? What do you think… check this out.
And just look at the face of Wifey. Smiling from ear to ear. Happy Daddy!!!

And that was that the day was over.
Sadly Wifey then had to leave us for work. We said goodbye. But, there is more fun to come tomorrow as Wifey is off work and I have her to myself. She does not know what I have planned haha. Watch out for another blog coming your way soon. Thanks to Le Fez for a wonderful lunch and Sooperlicious for a brilliant cake. But, most of all thanks to Wifey for being mine.
