We are so lucky to have Mario with us for his birthday – well I am actually double lucky to have had such a fun time in Cambodia with him. Then Grant grabs him for Thailand fun. Then family Kennett and Grant get to have him today, Sunday 10th – Mario’s birthday!!!
It was lunch at Mookata’s – a Kennett favourite. Thai BBQ over hot coals, with delicious soup from all the meat juices that drip in to the broth. I think Mario and Grant were a little “WTF you mean we have to cook ourselves???” But once they tasted they deliciousness of the outcomes all was won over. We love Mookata and are so glad our friends did too.
Happy Birthday Mario – love you mate!!!
It started with this.
3 little time bombs of chill sauce waiting to go off – tick tick tick.
Nearest end is the hottest, then medium, then mild.
Today I surprised myself devouring two trays of the hottest – OMG.
Thank goodness Mary got loo roll with aloe vera in it this week!!!
Here we all are the happy campers.
Birthday Boy on the left for those that don’t know Mario.
Two burners and two massive platters of meats, seafood and vegetables to get going on the BBQ.
Mwah – they make a lovely couple ha ha!
I HAD to take this shot of Grant actually in action ‘cooking’.
Apparently a dab hand with meat!!!
Two shots of the same now.
This from Mary.
A quick in betweeny from Mary of the three adult males.
Very nice!
This from Amy.
Nice shot Amy.
Very nice Babe.
‘Two men and a little lady???’
Private joke – sorry…
Will tell you someday soon.
Off to Rabbit Carrot Gun for a vino after lunch.
Did we have fun.
Amy why don’t you let us know.
We had a scream.
Eye Spy galore, couple of wines – and just FUN!!!
Happy Birthday again Mario.
Thanks to Grant too.
My family had such a lovely time, we truly did.
Love you guys!!!
