Like the Queen this year Amy had about 4 Birthdays for her 4th.
So we started allowing he to open some presents in the hotel in Tagbilaran, Bohol Tropica – the start of our epic trip to Fiesta time in Philippines (please see separate blog for that and a food one too – you lucky people).
Then we got to Mary’s home town of Mabini, Bohol and had a joint party with Mary’s son JimBoy. What a laugh this was. We had it is the town hall, look how many kids there were goodness me. Loads of friends from the town.
The theme was a famous Filipino fast food chain who laid on a great party – JolliBees.
The day previous Mary, me and Chai Chai had gone to the shops, well actually I was taking the boys to watch the film Battleship, and the girls ended up pottering around. But whilst waiting for the film we spotted some outfits for the party, how gorgeous do they look so cute. Identical outfit just all different colors.
So this is (right to left) Jhea – Mary’s daughter, Amy and Rhai Rhai – Mary’s niece. Beautiful girls!
So the girls did party games which were hysterical, see this one all about walking like a chicken or a bird or something, just hysterical.
Then out came the JolliBee characters Twirlie and JolliBee himself for dancing, some more fun and loads of photos.
Here’s me with Mary and all the kids and her Mum, NICE!
Twirlie took a liking to me (then we found out it was a guy in the suit – whoopsy!).
Speeches were given and candles were blown out.
A VERY special birthday and thanks to Mary and Mary’s Mum for organizing and for JimBoy for allowing us to share his special day.
Then we get back to Singapore and she has a huge pile of presents from all over the world to open.
Oh and then at the weekend about 70 of her friends and their families over for a Jumpy Castle, Water Slide party in the condo. Mayhem. And yes I am not lying, circa 70-80 people came to Amy’s 4th birthday between 1300-1700 this Saturday 12th May. Goodness me.
Happy Birthday beautiful girl.
And thanks to all her friends for coming and sending gifts all over the world, she really is such a lucky lucky girl. Thank you.
