Day #4 the Philippines June 2019
Wow!!! The only word I can use to describe Day #4 the Philippines June 2019. We decide to do dolphin watching but the usual charter boat was full and we had to fall-back to renting our own craft. I tell you what, we were so lucky to have done so. Feedback afterwards from locals was that what we saw was quite exceptional this day with nearly 1/3 of visitors not seeing a single thing. I remember back to 9 years ago and doing the same trip from Amorita Resort. It was almost like a regatta with so many boats ‘chasing’ the dolphins. Today we were the lone boat with three crew and family Kennett only. We were first out at 6 am, and we had front row seats. We had the most amazing experience with 2-3 pods of dolphins up so so close. Watch on for that. Bellevue Resort trip was a WOW today!!!
Apologies in advance for the length of the video content, but… I could not stop shooting these amazing creatures in their natural habitat. Yes, we were encroaching on them, but not in a bad way and that was evident with them coming so close to say hi. Very inquisitive animals they are. Stunningly beautiful too on this dead-calm sea with a beautiful sun rising. What a morning on Day #4 the Philippines June 2019. But it was not to end here. Off to do some island hopping we would go next. More exploring. I am in heaven and so are my fellow explorers. Sir David Attenborough eat your heart out fella.
Here we go. Please now allow me to indulge you in a million photos and huge video content of Day #4 the Philippines June 2019.
What a special day of many first experiences for us all.
I kid you not, we were literally the only boat. That 0600am start (0 meaning OH MY GOD IT’S EARLY!) was a massive bonus. The other chartered boat from the hotel was packed #1, noisy #2, arrived with a regatta of other hotel boats #3 and had missed the uninterrupted 40 or so minutes we had had with 2-3 dolphin pods right next to the boat. Family Kennett did well this day. An experience I don’t think any of us will forget as we sat and watched, ooooh’d and aaaaah’d on that mill pond sea with a stunning sunrise. Magical!!! And this was the first magical experience of the first five hours of Day #4 the Philippines June 2019.

For all, you divers out there I tell you Bohol is the place. Amazing drop-offs, like insane drop-offs. Stunningly clear seas and so so much variety of fish and coral fauna it is not funny. Come and try it, stay at the house as a great base location too. We only snorkelled but rented a GoPro and a guide to get some snaps of us too. Have a look at Day #4 the Philippines June 2019. This was absolutely bloody amazing and yes 1st’s were happing yet again for family Kennett today. It’s double fun in the Philippines. So proud to be a Boholano (well I do own land here with wifey) when you get out and see the beauty of this island and surrounding waters. WOW!!!

If you happen to be staying in and/or around Panglao Centre you should come and say hi to these guys. Very reasonable on the $$ and bloody good food. Un-assuming, no frills, just great food. Oh yeah and if you sit upstairs there is a doorbell you ring for service. Imagine my kids on that one. Yeah, it was a blast!!!
Definitely give them a look up – the address is pretty random, so best check them on Facebook I suppose. Here you go. Say Hi from us. https://www.facebook.com/lafamiliapanglao/
What an incredible day. This is one that will stay in my mind for the rest of my days. Day #4 the Philippines June 2019 was just so special. We all had experiences we have never had before. It was an incredibly wonderful family day that was interweaved with 1st’s galore. Things we had never done and had never experienced. But we did it all together and that made it all the more special. One of the best days I have ever had in the Philippines. Thanks to the Bellevue Resort for the very best hotel excursion I have ever done – it was remarkable. Again it truly is more fun in the Philippines. Our house is literally on the door-step to everything you see in this blog. Boy did wifey and I choose well. I know the videos were insanely long and I apologise, but I could not help myself. I mentioned it before and I will say it again – it was magical. I hope you – ENJOY!!!
