Snow City – for the 1st time in forever…

Now that title is kind of apt don’t you think? Well, it was bloody frozen in there. The last time we went here was when Jhea was over from the Philippines and staying with us. Funnily enough, as I type this and look up there is the very picture from that day of me with the kids, minus Wifey & Jude. So this really was Snow City – for the 1st time in forever…

So this little lad now has his own bedroom away from Mum & Dad and he slept alone last night. When I said alone, I meant with the cast of Frozen and Pikachu. As a reward, we decided to take him to Snow City and that is how today came about.

Did we forget him? Remember the scene from Home Alone? Here is Jude’s re-enactment. Macaulay, eat your heart out, Son. Jude, winner!!!

I have to say I am slightly annoyed with Snow City as they have closed the main slope down for skiing lessons but do not advise you of such when you book. So the only thing ‘working’ was this one quasi-toboggan run that allows you to have up to four at once. It was fun though, as you can see from the faces.

Now, this is new and also great fun, BUT additional cost. They’ll get your $ any which was they can. These are bumper cars on an ice-rink. Yeah, that is cool. Pumping music, disco lights and a buggy that drives like a tank. It’s a giggle. Ice-Sliders.

1st time ever for BeBe to experience snow. Yeah, she was super cold. After about 1 minute she could not feel her nose. HaHa.

Love this photo. This is our crash scene after the 4 of us went down the toboggan run. Notice a certain small person at the front with only one shoe. Whoopsy! It’s a real giggle for a couple of hours.
