Animate Your Life @ Gardens By The Bay
Off we go today to Animate Your Life @ Gardens By The Bay. Funny too, as before that we scooted off to Satay By The Bay for lunch and bumped in to our best buds Steve, Stacy, Soph and the boys. Yep they have had exactly the same plan. A tad of a rip off to be honest. Only bouncy castles included in the price. A load more cash to go on the other rides in there. A shop. And if you want a temporary tattoo for the kids you have to fill out a huge marketing questionnaire. Interesting – perhaps because Prudential is ‘sponsoring it’. Anyways it was good fun for the kids, just bloody hot for everyone else.

The gang with the Bare Bears.
So yes I would say get your kids down there to Animate Your Life @ Gardens By The Bay I think it closes down at the end of June. We had a nice lunch, one of best Murtabak’s EVER, a good afternoon at the thing, and then a couple of beers on the water front by the river front listening to the Dragon Boating. Great day.

Right by Marina Bay Sands as you’ll see in the background. Clearly they had had massive rains, and it was a quagmire.

Kai Kai with the gang, outside Ben10’s Omnitrix adventure bouncy castle. Seems it was cool as they were in there ages.

My two little Ben10’s – loving that stance Jude Jude.

The gang in front of figure changing mirrors attempting to make their very own Ben10 alien character. They do look spooky has to be said.

Amy’s is called FourLegs

And Jude Jude’s is called – BigBlackTummy

Even Grandpa, and Gwen get in on the act with Ben10 along with their stunt doubles with them now.

Soph doing some baby-sitting for us now as it is HOT. In the blow-up maze they go.

I think they are definitely having fun!

This was a great ride, there was a low and a high pummel, and it span erratically in both directions to confuse the kids and try and knock them off their podiums. So it was jump and duck, jump and duck…

And boy did she mess this one up. Man down, man down. Well basically, Amy down. Love that falling face! Classic!

Looks a bit like Hunger Games.

Bouncy ‘cave’ with balls, he loved this one!

Bumped in to an old flame of mine (ha ha).

Tattoos on, both feeling very happy with themselves.

Yep you guessed it. Jude was not allowed on alone, so an adult had to accompany him. I was chosen ha ha. Trying to make it look like I am enjoying it!

Yes I had to do the bloody slide too. Believe me, Jude is right next to me.

OK OK – it was quite fun.

Now in the car with the bears. Jude said he wanted to drive.

I got impatient with Amy. “Come on, take the flipping photo Amy!” Said I “Bear with me Dad” She said. “No Amy, it’s with me!” Said I.

More and more bouncy castle fun for the kidlets

Trampoline time – great shot mid-air

Boing!

Up next it’s the Power Puff Girls – or as I always say Powder Puff Girls. Which three is which I’ll you decide.

In all it’s glory, shot from the walkway through Marina Bay Sands Hotel to the Convention Centre.

A rather impressive view of the ECP, MBS, Flier and our old gaff Costa Rhu.

And MBS from literally right underneath it. On out way to sit at the river for a couple of drinks and dinner. Lovely day!
So there you have it folks. A lovely day with family and friends, something new for this weekend was Animate Your Life @ Gardens By The Bay. And really good fun it was too. Well worth a pop down to blast 2-3 hours with the kidlets and knacker them out too ha ha. Despite a wee moan, at $50 for 4 of us it’s very reasonable too – take the kids and – ENJOY!!!
