Chai Chai and Bao Bao wedding – Mabini, Bohol, The Philippines Aug’18
Chai Chai and Bao Bao wedding – Mabini, Bohol, The Philippines Aug’18, what a day it was. Amy had left us the night before as she was a bridesmaid and needed to be with the rest of the girls for hair and make-up. The rest of us at station Anda were up at 0600am to prepare as well. Jude needed to get dressed up for ring bearer duties. My Mary got dressed up to amazing beauty and yours truly tried to go traditional with a Barong and red trousers/shoes to match the colour co-ordination.
We waited for ages for our van to come with Mary’s red dress delivery, only for her to try it on and decide no, and go back to the white one that was already handing up in the room. Hmmmm. Thanks to J&R Residence, Jilo and Ralf, for creating an amazing transformation to the special room for our special treat to Chai Chai and Bao Bao. It looked amazing! Here’s some shots of that in the morning. How nice does that look – but imagine it tonight with candles and champagne – more to follow.

How good does this look – just beautiful!

WOW!!! I’d be happy with this – not half!!!

Champagne on ice? But of course, it’s a must!!!

A dinner is set for tonight – original plan was romantic like on their balcony, but we figured they’d probably like to have a family dinner instead hey presto – again J&R Residence – awesome thank you!!!

Baby Jude all prepped and ready to go – looking good buddy, so handsome
OK let’s get in to the actual day of – Chai Chai and Bao Bao wedding – Mabini, Bohol, The Philippines Aug’18. It’s a photo-fest. Some things that stand out for me;
- Poor baby Jude being sick twice in the van including one time all over Dave the Parrot;
- And no surprise as the van driver thought he was Lewis Hamilton in an F1 race – lunatic;
- Stunning local church at Mabini – no religious significance for me, it was just stunning;
- The choir were amazing, almost haunting sounds echo’ing through the church;
- Funny thing that myself and the chap sat next to me could not understand a word of the service – so we had to literally copy everything that everyone else was doing, stand up, sit down – almost like learning a new dance;
- Amazing performance by Mum and my Mary with their speeches at the reception, incredible – wow so so proud;
- The lady compere at the reception was so funny, massively pregnant so we gave her a chair and water, but she soldiered on – she should be on TFC, bloody funny;
- Hysterical games for the next bride to be – so much better than the UK style of throw the bouquet over the shoulder;
- Releasing the white doves was such a nice touch, I really liked that;
- J&R Residence did us proud for our gift to Chai Chai and Bao Bao – it was just beautiful – thank you.
OK here we go the pictures of the day.

We even get JimBoy in to a photo bless him.

Check out my in-laws. Wow. Looking so handsome and beautiful. Like this picture very much!

See what I mean about the church. Simple, but just beautiful. Really stunning place, even more so with the flowers and drapes. Wow!!!

Rai Rai looking gorgeous too, goodness me so so beautiful, and clearly so happy happy for Mum and Dad.

This is a cracker of the bridesmaids and munchkins with wifey – yes not an optical allusion to the right hand side, they’re twins.

And here is the girl of the moment – the stunning bride Chai Chai.
- BeBe does a body swerve passed the vicar to put down her sponsored gift… “He’s not getting it!” She said.

Poor BaiBai struggling with the heat – wafting herself continually. It was so so hot in the church believe me. PHEW!!!

Vows all said – massive congratulations to the Happy Couple xxxx

Here we go – this is it. Don’t they look great together!!!

Beautiful snap of the gorgeous couple. Wow that is a cracker!!!

Signatures all done – let’s get some official photos next of the family and friends – I am going to steal the poses though for my own collection ha ha.

Out come all the ladies from the Sponsors, I was in the next shoot but of course cannot take a picture of myself.

Mum and Dad with the Happy Couple.

My tattoo’s brother performing his job very well.

Up next Amy and hers. She walked in like a cat-walk model dear me!!!

I love this – massive introduction ceremony at the reception. Everyone gets announced and then has to walk in to the table to sit for food. Here is Jhea coming in with her ‘partner’.

And finally Bride and Groom…

It’s all non-stop smiles!!!

I loved this – releasing white doves that stay together forever as a couple. See what I mean… Gorgeous!!!

Wifey gets up and does an amazing speech, like wow!!! I’ll get some video done of her and mum-in-law soon and add in. Just give me some time.

Back home now and I took the kids to the beach. Hermit crab hunting – yeap we found hundreds.

Happy camper scouring the beach for new shells and things, very happy!

We called it a science trip – Jude seriously loves science so this was perfect for him – look at the concentration.

Yep staged, but anyways – still cool!

Yes this island is volcanic. This is solidified lava – see the air bubbles from where the lava was still molten and bubbling away before hitting the sea and cooling down. The resort is built on this rock.

And they’re here – arriving romantically on a motorbike ha ha!!! Bless!!!
