Day #7 Panglao, the Philippines Nov’2019 – home-time
The last day is upon us. We tidy up the house for the next tenant. We pack. We have to say our family goodbyes, and then we’re off. Van, tri-cycle, ferry, van, plane, van. Yeah, it’s a journey all right. This is a very short blog, as usual for our last day. We’re just pissed off to be going back. We love our little house so much, our home on Panglao and of course the place itself, and our family and friends. Here we go Day #7 Panglao, the Philippines Nov’2019 – home-time.

I love this snap. Jhea becomes a hairdresser for the morning. Jude looks on with complete contempt. Too funny. Missing the girls already. A short while after this photo the girls and Mamang had left. Mae was over finalising our exit and being ready to welcome the new guest in for the month of December. We were packed and on the way to get our tickets at the Seaport. A couple of hours so a quick bag check-in and drop-off and then some lunch before we sail.

Today it is Bell’s turn to want to be anonymised in a photo. Whoops, sorry I didn’t mean Bell. I mean this anonymous teddy bear did not want their identity disclosed but was OK to have a photo taken.

And the kids revert to normal practice. Electronics out.

We choose this local joint that is walking distance to the Seaport, rather a 2-minute tricycle ride shall we say. Pretty good it has to be said. This was called STK Sugba Tula Kilaw, @ 1054 Ma Clara St Cor Graham Ave, Tagbilaran City, 6300.

Here it is from the road-side frontage. Pop in and say hi. This is a great ‘layover’ place whilst you await your ferry from the Seaport. We had an hour to kill so this was perfect.

Although I am not really sure re this. AVAILABLE NOW!!! Er, chicken neck. I think I might be keeping it on the low-down, not AVAILABLE NOW!!! But wait until you see what wifey orders.

Here we go, lunch today. Sizzling Bulalo. Lechon Kawali. And my Wifey’s choice of Bagaybay and Bihud sizzling platter in the middle. What is that you ask? Well, folks, it is fish gonads and sperm-sacks. She said it tasted bitter. Yeah right, I’d be bitter if you had just cut my gonads off and eaten them!!!

Ok then. Not really sure how to comment… HaHa!!!

A few hours later and we are boarded at Cebu and soon to be on our way home. #1 passenger Jude and his best bud Bell are ready to rock. I have lost my hat though to the bear.

“I am a DJ!!!” said Jude. (He actually did say exactly that!)

Amy is very lucky. Moving from front-row premier seat to her very own Business Class with flat-bed in row 2.

And here is the flat-bed in action. Night night. Well, it is nearly 2200 with the flight departure delay. Bugger you Scoot.
