So this year she turned the ripe old age of 47 – only 3 years older than yours truly.
She definitely had a few more million spent on her birthday, and here is some snaps of our day on 9th August, 2012.
It started with Amy and I peeling brussel sprouts, yes brussel sprouts in Singapore. We were invited to Mr Clark’s for a National Day BBQ, befioe the fireworks at 8pm isn. So I cooked a couple of dishes, namely brussel sprout and bacon hash (yummy), and a tomato/basil/onion/mozzarella/balsamic salad (also very yummy). So bless Amy she wanted to help, and have to say she was an excellent sous-chef with her little fingers being the very best “tool” for peeling of a few out laters of leaves.
A few beers consumed and some delicious food eaten also, and we’re off literally to the river frontage of our condo to watch the infamous Singaporean National Day fireworks. They, as usual, did not disappoint. This year we watched from Gardens on the Bay on our side of the river (check next blog for our Saturday experience of Gardens on the Bay on the other side of the river – WOW).
Amy and Ollie loved this – look at these two hugging each other watching the show go on. Very cute guys!
And here’s what we were all watching – amazing!
Then once we had finished watching the show, it was back to Uncle Steve’s for a few more beers, food and fun for the kids before their bed time. Thanks Steve and Tracey, a lovely evening/night.
Although not sure from this picture if Robbo had had maybe a few too many local beverages???? Ha Ha!!
