Happy Father’s Day
What a lovely day with the family. A very lazy morning for Happy Father’s Day. Beautiful hand-made cards from the kids. A lovely wrist-band from Amy. A very cool travel wash-bag which is going to Thailand with us tomorrow. A very cool shirt and equally cook t-shirt. Wow thanks guys. Then off to have a lunch at one of my favourite joints, Gourmet Bistro on Frankel. A few beers at BarRoom with Amy, chatting and writing up blogs. Off to the hawker to gorge on food and a couple more beers. Home with a film and glass of vino. What a lovely day.
Thank yo family – that was indeed a VERY Happy Father’s Day.

Stunning cured ham and parmesan.

Simply the best French Onion Soup you will ever had – the secret is in adding in Balsamic Vinegar, oh yeah and two hulking lumps of bone marrow to accompany.

Unctuous foie gras, oh yeah baby!

Amy’s little breaded brie cheese parcels with honey.

Happy Father’s Day indeed – what a smashing lunch! Thanks family!

Very happy!

Out next comes the Rib Eye – bloody nice, but I think ChillaxBBQ’s is better ha ha!

My favourite today. Iberico Pork with truffle mash. Holy Cow! And then to top that there is a little sauce to cut through the oil, which blew my mind – Balsamic vinegar, a little salt, lemon and lime juice – reduce slowly. WOW!!!
