Jack Jack’s Birthday
Our mate Jack Jack turns 4, and it’s party time at La Barca, in Goodman Arts Centre. What a cracking afternoon with kids everywhere, and our mates, our family. Jack Jack’s Birthday, was such a lovely day. Thanks to Stacy and Steve for inviting and organising, Jude and Amy had a stellar day. Happy Happy Birthday to the wee man. Hope you like the snaps.
So this was all news to us but La Barca is now doing a quasi brunch with bouncy castles and stuff for the kids. So a lovely lazy lunch for the adults with the kids a stone’s throw away in a gorgeous safe environment. Pricey though. So it’s not really brunch. There is free flow but that is only the Prosecco. I thought the beer and Bloody Mary’s were in the free-flow. Whoops no they are not. Also the food is all Al La Carte, so not really brunch style at all. Still it was an excellent after for Jack Jack’s Birthday.
It’s food time first.
La Barca Bacon Burger. Not bad. Needed more seasoning in my reckoning, plus quite a lot of bone in the mince. Looks nice though!
Kids get stuck in to Parma Pizza.

Got to have a bit of steak right! OK Mary ordered a hot stone too, yep to burn the buggery out of this beautiful meat to a well done. Still think ChillaxBBQ is better ha ha!

Lunch over and it is PLAY-TIME – weeeeeeeeeeeee! Someone taught the kids how to squeeze this to get more distance on the hose. Yep we all got soaked, little buggers!
