Kennett Clan Christmas 2017
What a day. A lovely lay-in. Present opening in PJ’s. Then off to The Rutherfords for an absolutely cracking lunch and afternoon. Kids all playing in and out of the pool. Secret Santa for 40 or so people. And the most amazing spread of food. Stacy and Steve, cannot thank you enough, that was incredible. ChrisLaxBBQ??? Sadly my Mary was sick, sick, sick so we had to make an early dash for her to have a lay down, so I took the wee ones to hawker for Xmas dinner and to watch ‘The Perfect Storm’. Here comes Kennett Clan Christmas 2017.

My first dish up today, was Venison Tartare. How good does that look! A real test this one as who knows how raw reindeer will go on Xmas day. Sorry Rudolph!
World famous Asian Sprouts, a must for any Xmas dinner, or any dinner come to that.
And finally Iranian Lamb, courtesy of my new mate Kathryn Thayre. What a cracking dish!
It was a splendid spread. Check out all that food and the happy campers. Best turkey ever, hams, lamb shanks, cauliflower cheese, Yorkshire puddings, cookies, cheese platters, pumpkin pie, breads, dips, roasted veggies, OMG so much food and such good food! ChillaxBBQ would be proud of this!
Yes indeed it was a cracking time with kids playing, adults chilling (most of the time), chatting, eating and drinking. Heavenly!
Then came the mad dash home to let my Mary have a lay down to repair. And off to the Siglap hawker go the kids and I for dinner. Ollie goes to another party though, hence no photos of him in anything. Whilst there the heavens literally opened. It was ‘The Perfect Storm’ – amazing to watch and we had front row seats, with delicious food, some new toys to play with and a couple of cold long-necks of course. The extended Kennett Clan Christmas 2017.

The the mother of all storms hit us. We were safe, just, under the awning. It went BLACK, and boom in came some serious fork lightening, thunder and torrential rain kicked in for about an hour.
Were we scared? You decide?
So scared Mum, big noises and lightening! oooooooh!

So there you have it Kennett Clan Christmas 2017. Thanks to my lovely family for a wonderful day, great to speak to family too in UK (miss you guys so much), and of course our hosts Steve and Stacy – what cracking day. A lovely 2017 Christmas. Wonderful gifts from and for all, and just great fun was had. Doesn’t get much better. Love to all. Happy Christmas to all. Here comes 2018 – ENJOY!!!
