Mary’s actual 40th Birthday, Henann Resort, Panglao, Bohol, Philippines
So my Mary is like the Queen of England this year, having two birthdays? OK OK I know, one was a party and today is the day, but still what a lucky girl! This is a short one from me for now, as most of the photos sit with Freja and Soph (lazy boy with no camera after breakfast) for Mary’s actual 40th Birthday, Henann Resort, Panglao, Bohol, Philippines. I will add those afterwards when I get them from the girls. But here we go.
Now I’ll start with video as this was a classic. My poor wifey had no idea. She was expecting some dinner surprise, but as I had no idea where we were doing dinner, I spun it on its head and went for surprise breakfast. Just check the look on her face, bless. She nearly jumped out of her skin when they started the tamborines and singing. Too funny. Job done Hubbie, SURPRISE my love!!!
Could that be a new iPhone Watch for a birthday present – happy, indeed she is, he he! Imagine keeping that secret in the luggage, have you seen the box they come in – yeah thanks Apple!
Now that is not a bad birthday cake to get for breakfast is it? Now so funny was that where it says kids, on the piece of paper to the Chef I had written; love hubbie and Amy, Ollie, Jude, Jimboy and Jhea – they panicked. “I don’t think we have a big enough plate Sir!?!?!” – OK kids will do thanks! Ha Ha Ha. Still very impressive, until Baby Jude got his hands all over it!
Even a lovely note from the room staff with a ‘rabbit’ that they have dressed up, looking cool! Happy Birthday again!
OK here comes the void, from breakfast to dinner. Mary scooted off to the city. The kids and I, and of course our mates The Ruthers invaded the swimming pool, and blitzed it all day. Jude literally did not get out ALL DAY. He ate in the pool, drank in the pool, played in the pool. It was an ACE day, I just need Soph and Freja to help me show it off.

A belter of a birthday dinner at a favourite of ours Payag. Amazing BBQ chicken, pork etc. Yummo. And tonight it is with our mates The Rutherfords, bless em! Great fun. Still having fun, fun, fun!
A request for a couple of non-selfie taken selfies now. Beautiful wife, clearly still having a great day. It was a day #2 cracker. Happy 40th my love. OK OK you do look about 30 still, lucky thing!
