Ollie’s 18th Birthday – Mate’s Bash
On a recommendation from my mate Spencer, we found this rather cool space for Ollie to have his Ollie’s 18th Birthday Mate’s Bash. On the 5th Floor of The Flow, Katong is this place called Control Space, which is owned by Spencer’s mate Justin. Give him a bell and book it, tis rather cool as you will see. Justin is on 9655 1060.
I also decided to do a rather special ‘cake’ for Ollie’s 18th Birthday Mate’s Bash. A Japanese Wagyu Grade A4 steak cake no less, cut to resemble Stamford Bridge. With a stand made from sponge fingers and blue mashed potato. Spectators were sour gummy people. The grass was desiccated coconut with green food clouring. Yes, this is one cool space. Bow filled with copious amounts of booze and soon to be teenagers consuming the copious amounts of booze. Oh dear. This is the upstairs bit AKA gaming room with darts, bucket-pong, Wii, KTV, the lot. Absolutely superb concept.
Steak-cake now becomes more of a stadium look with the candles in and that is a shit load of candles. Hoping their smoke alarm is not too sensitive. Look at the spectators. They’re getting restless.
Very proud of this one! Like the little girls “I like jelly-fish” party I did once. Great fun getting creative for #1. How good does that bloody steak look.
So pleased that Ollie loved this too. So happy with that.
#1 with his #1 mate arrival tonight. Hoping the rest of the gang rock up and make this a cracking night for Ollie. Happy Birthday again matey.
And here is downstairs. Again a great space. Great for a private party. Fridge and loo downstairs, Plus the bar. area. Absolutely brilliant.

Make a wish mate. “I wish I had not got so close to blow the candles out, as I have no eyebrows now,” said Ollie.
Happy Birthday sung and candles blow out. Now time to get the smaller ones to dinner and let Ollie get on with having fun. The last job for me is to carve up the steak-cake.

And that was that. Our job was done. We leave Ollie and his mates to have massive fun.
