Science Centre March 2021
It has been over a year – well at least since Covid started. The family needed something fun to do this day, Wifey was with us too, so we all decided that The Science Centre would be a good shout. So, I pre-booked our slot and off we jolly went for an afternoon of fun. Yes, prebook. You have to get an allocated slot now. 3 hours is all you get. In fact, funny as I now check back into ninakennett.net and it was actually 2018 the last time we were here – wow…

It is a tad decimated though in 2021, with a number of things closed, not in operation or zero-touch within it and even McDonald’s has closed (hoorah). Plus you only get three hours and it is rigid. We got an all-inclusive ticket which included things like the Omni-Theatre – that film alone consumed 45 minutes of our 3 hours allotment – one to be aware of folks. Plan your time if you are getting an all-inclusive ticket.
Also do not be fooled by the $5 voucher per all-inclusive ticket – that is not a discount you can apply off a total bill – it is $5 off individual purchases of +$20. Small print folks, small print!!!!
We had fun though – still a great day out. We had a lovely lunch across the road at Fountain Microbrewery Restaurant and then meandered around for 3 hours. It surely is something to still go do with the kids during the lockdown. All in 5 minutes walk is The Science Centre, The Observatory, Snow City, Fountain Microbrewery Restaurant.

It was just a wonderful family day today. 3 years on and our visit to Science Centre March 2021. I can’t quite believe it has been so long, but hey we’re East Coasters and ro go over to Jurong is a journey. We get nose bleeds and even take our passports just in case. It’s a jaunt. Today really was fun, despite the massive cut-downs and closures of what is actually ‘on offer’. Hopefully, you’ll see that in the blog – ENJOY!!!
