SEA Aquarium Kids & Fish…
The weekend is upon us again. What to do? How to entertain those pesky kids? I offered up Bird Park, Science Park, Zoo or SEA Aquarium. They all chose the Aquarium. So off we jolly well trotted to have a fantastic afternoon with the piscatorial displays over on Sentosa. Such as a great time. Not so busy too due to Covid of course, but bloody annoying to have to wear a mask all the way around.
Not so many pictures today.
I decided to do more video and let the fish speak for themselves – well not literally of course…

Jude Jude doing his impersonation of a Honeycomb Cowfish. So lifelike it’s amazing…

Just stunning see-through fish in a perfect shoal. All facing the same way, almost like there is something interesting on TV on the right-hand side of the tank. Perhaps the Blue Planet is showing again?

Nature is just amazing. Can’t beat some Sea Horses. All the little white flecks are little shrimps that had just been dropped in. It was indeed feeding time.

Paddle Fish (I think) looking very much like a Basking Shark or Strawberry Blonde when she is yawning…

The amazing cut the diver in half trick…

Lion Fish. Beautiful but deadly, a bit like Strawberry Blonde with the farts…

This is just jaw-dropping no matter how many times you see this. This is the Open Ocean Tank. It is immense. So big that at one point in time they were considering having a Whale Shark in here. It really is HUGE. And, at the moment you could also dine in here in these little igloo thigs. Now that is one crazy back-drop for a dinner. I can stand and stare at this for hour after hour.

Wifey trying to get her hands on the lobster for her dinner. Even with the magnification of the glass, you can tell that this thing is a monster. Abso-bloody-lutely HUGE!!!

Again, I just have to show off nature. Look at these colours. Mind-blowing.

And hello again nature. Stunning little Poison Arrow Frogs. So absolutely stunning with the colours but basically issuing a big f*ck off warning. These little beauties are about the size of a thumbnail. So tiny but so absolutely beautiful.

And another one. A cousin perhaps. The colour is electric. Really is a WOW when you see these. Again, the size of a thumbnail. So very small, but boy they pack a punch.

Baby shark a doo di doo, baby shark a doo di doo… Free masks with the entry…
And there it was. Another lovely family day in Singapore. We had not been here for an age so the timing to return was good. We had such a lovely afternoon @ SEA Aquarium Kids & Fish… From there we walked over to VivoCity and ate some grub and did a little shopping. Bang on close to the day. It’s really quite good timing to visit the zoos and museums, perhaps a small positive of Covid as not so busy. Well worth a visit, even if just to get the free masks – ENJOY!!!

And BOOM what a cracking end to the day with this for my dinner – full English fry-up including mushy peas and haggis – hell yeah!!!
