Strawberry Blonde turns 12 years-old – Happy Birthday
It is the 28th. It is April. It is STRAWBERRY BLONDE’S Birthday. Happy Happy Birthday Amy. Like everyone on the planet with a Birthday, it is all a bit strange this year. Lockdowns, circuit-breakers, and quarantines are causing strange times. Even her Birthday parcel from Nanny, Uncles and Aunts was stolen before it. got here, can you believe it? So it was all a bit different this year. No friends and no party, so. we tried to make to the best for her despite the adversity.
Thanks to our family across the planet for her lovely Birthday wishes, gifts and. for that Zoom which was just INCREDIBLE!!! Thanks to all our friends on FaceBook for sending her Birthday wishes too, she read them all and I think is quite amazed by how many people sent her them – thank you all. And a special call-out thanks to TJ for remembering and personally delivering an incredible piece of artwork for Amy’s gift – it’s a WOW, it really is. You’ll see more of that below.

The usual Birthday family dinner choice from our Amy of Etna. Not the same sitting at home but we’re still very happy. Yummy food and good menu choices from Strawberry Blonde for the food. Yummo!!!
A rather special ‘Birthday cake’ this year. Something different Mum and I thought as it will be a different Birthday full-stop. So how about cactus cakes with shovels. AMAZE-BALLS hahaha. She loved them. Phew!!! I think these are UBER cool. Sugar-rush in a BIG WAY though.

And then a BIG surprise for her at 2000. It was ZOOM time. She had a. family ZOOM with Aunty and nieces in New York, GrandMum in Margate, Grandparents in Tokyo, Aunty &. Uncle in Birchington and us in Singapore. AMAZING to have altogether for her Birthday – something we’ll be doing more often for sure now!!! It was a WOW!!! So great to see all the family all over the World and all safe as well.
Just brilliant fun. We even had the ‘olds’ changing the background photo and wall-sharing. Thanks Covid you have made grandparents have the necessity to be IT literate hahaha. Such a wonderful surprise for Amy and thanks to family for all joining us. That was SPECIAL!!!
